Happy Thanksgiving!!

We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from up here in Ohio!  Wish we were in Florida with the rest of the family!  :)

See - look at this sweet face you missed out on!

Dinner was yummy; however, should I take it personally that the ENTIRE we ate all Jayden kept asking for was this:

Then, of course because my kids do not like pie, we had THIS for dessert - MMMMMM!

When a 2-yr-old lets you sleep in...

... despite what you think it can never be good.  I mean, first of all you think "Thank God!  She finally realized her toybox is in her room for a reason." 

Or maybe she is sitting in the corner reading to her babies - afterall, there is quite a bit of babbling and giggling. 

You hear typical play sounds and think, "How cute, just listen to her playing."  You are sooooo thankfully for the extra hour of sleep she allowed you to get when you had to stay up until 4am working.  But then when you come around the corner with a smile on your face, rested and refreshed, and ready to thank your little angel for being so good and THIS is what you see...

You wonder if that "extra hour" was really worth it?!  Yeaaa... I don't think so considering how long it took to clean up!

*NOTE:  You'll notice her toybox was completely untouched.... maybe she hasn't figured it out yet afterall!  LOL

The Up-to-Date, LATEST Fashions...

... according to a 2-year-old! Okay, so I know I said I was going to be blogging to keep family and friends updated on life here in Ohio but, well... okay so that completely failed! LOL Anyway, I will try to do better and update atleast once a week. And what better way to kick things off than with fashion advice from a 2-yr-old. So, be sure to take notes as these are sure to be all the rage this fall!


First we have the "wear nothing but a diaper and your babies" all day look. She has figured out this toy is also a "backpack" baby carrier but likes to carry a baby in front as well. Hmmm... is this any indication of her future? LOL




Next, you take a typical Gator helmet and girlie it up. You can probably do this any number of ways but the one Jayden came up with was to decorate it with Easter window clings. Here she is modeling it for you now! :)

Next, you take a night-night shirt (no bottoms because that would be too much), glasses that you can only get after an eye exam, necklace, and flip-flops that are all of 3 sizes too big. Put it all together and wah~lah!

Our next look involves wearing a black leotard with tutu (although any color will do), new mutlicolored necklace from grandmama, and a Chipotle bag cleverly disguised as a hat! Now, strike a pose...

and you're ready to go!

NOTE: If you notice the dates on the pics - they are ALL from the same date except for her baby-wearing photo. The girl does love to change! :) hope you enjoyed a glimpse of our everyday life here... more to come soon (I promise!)
